Do you provide the alcohol?

No.  Unfortunately, liquor laws prevent us from providing the alcohol for your event.  All liquor, wine and beer must be provided and purchased by the host.  However, we love helping our guests and making their events as stress-free as possible.  So, we happily offer a transportation service for an additional cost, which includes pick up, drop off, and set-up!

How do I reserve my event date with Sips for Tips?

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of contract signing.  Your deposit will be applied to your final balance.  The $50 deposit may be paid via PayPal, Ca$h app, check or cash.

What uniform will my bartender be wearing?

Our bartenders typically wear long-sleeved, black button down shirts and black dress pants.  Don't like the generic look and have a certain look in mind?  Let us know!  We would be happy to accommodate. Additional fees may apply depending on the uniform request.

VIP Lookout?

Visually Intoxicated Persons:
The owner and all bartender partners are trained in alcohol awareness and RAMP certified.  However, the host of the event is ultimately responsible for all invited guests and their actions.  Sips for Tips reserves the right to refuse service to any guest(s) who seem to have had too much to drink, per our judgment.  There are companies in which you can purchase individual event insurance.  Sips for Tips and partner bartenders do not offer insurance; and when signing a contract with us you waive the right to any future lawsuits against Sips for Tips, the owners, partners and employees.

Is gratuity included in your fees?

Tips are customary in the bartending business so we offer our clients two options:
1. Tip Jar - Allow a tip jar to be placed on the bar for guests. 
2. "Hosted Gratuity" - There will be no tip jar and the host will pay a $5-$6 per person gratuity fee based on number of quest attending the event.

Can we hire Sips for Tips for our children's parties?

Do I need to make a deposit?

Payment is expected to be received at the beginning of the event unless other arrangements have been made. Types of payment accepted are Cash, Check and Credit Cards.  Credit Card payments may be made in advance securely through Paypal and Ca$h apps.
